The Fayetteville Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) is a 501c6 public-private partnership designed to enhance job growth and prosperity across our community by attracting new industry and expanding existing industry. The FCEDC works daily to help strengthen our economy and diversify our community’s tax base. We identify and prepare sites and buildings for expedited development and are endlessly promoting our community’s best assets for industry decision-makers, site-selectors, and developers. Our local leaders recognize that a healthier business community is a critical element in providing the best possible quality of life for local residents. That’s why we’ve developed a variety of incentives to encourage companies to locate and expand to Fayetteville and Cumberland County, in addition to other advantages, such as the low cost of land and labor. The FCEDC supports our existing companies by facilitating expansions, connecting them with resources, and creating network groups such as the Plant Managers Association and the Transportation and Logistics Committee.
